THE TEAM

OUR TEAM OF YOGA INSTRUCTORS HAVE MANY YEARS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE  AND ARE EXCITED TO WELCOME YOU TO THE HOUSE OF MOVEMENT

For as long as I can remember I have always moved. From 6 months old I was standing in my dad’s hands and that was the beginning of finding my balance and strength. My parents always encouraged me to find love and passion in movement and I am so grateful that they pushed me into learning new skills from a young age. My Dance, Gymnastics, Kite Surfing and Circus background has definitely helped shape me into the yoga teacher I am now.

I started my Yoga journey in 2014 and remember feeling so relieved that there was no competition. No judgment and just healing love are what really resonated with me and I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Since completing my yoga teacher training I have taught at many different yoga studios all over Cape Town but it has always been a dream of mine to open my own small boutique yoga studio and I am so incredibly grateful for this next chapter and journey.

I teach from the heart and enjoy giving each person an experience to walk away with. I love creating interesting classes where we all learn and grow together.
I have always been fascinated with the human body and this is why I feel adjustments are so important in my classes so we all can prevent injuries.
Adjustments with essential oils of course 🙂 I absolutely believe that essential oils have healing benefits and they most definitely help my yogis’ connect to their breath more consciously.

In essence, a conscious breath develops a conscious mind and body. Yoga provides a doorway to a deeper understanding of yourself and I hope it will touch your life as much as it has touched mine.

I was Born in Belgium and raised in South Africa, a traveller, teacher and an eternal student at heart. I discovered my passion and love for yoga in 2012.

Yoga is a lifestyle that helps create conscious and mindful living, building a relationship between the body, mind and soul through breath work, asanas and meditation. My practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and courageous, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully and to be gentle in all that I do. As Gandhi said; “ Be truthful, gentle and fearless.”

Creating a connection with my students and guiding them with curiosity is what excites me.

From Vinyasa to Yin, my teaching style is all about connecting and being holistic in ones practice.
In my Vinyasa classes, I love to combine creative dance like sequences that are dynamic and flowing.
In my Yin classes, I love to create a safe space to soften and explore ones inner world while working on deep connective tissues.

Let us be playful and explore our inner and outer worlds together.
